Our partnership with Four Leaf Rover began with a shared vision: to elevate their online presence to match the excellence of their products. Four Leaf Rover had created a brand that stood for everything good—natural, safe, eco-friendly pet products. But the website, built on a standard Shopify theme, didn’t do justice to their mission. While functional, the website didn’t capture the essence of what makes Four Leaf Rover special.

We got to work, and the result was nothing short of transformative. We used rich imagery and engaging content to breathe life into every page. The new product pages showcased the meticulous care and quality behind each formulation, making it easy for customers to see what set Four Leaf Rover apart. Navigating the site became a seamless experience, with an optimized structure that allowed customers to find exactly what they needed and learn about the benefits of natural pet remedies.

Customizing Four Leaf Rover’s subscriptions beyond one-size-fits-all

Choose your dog size dropdown option on Four Leaf Rover

Four Leaf Rover had developed an impressive array of offerings, including supplements, dog food, mushrooms, and probiotics. But there was a challenge: different-sized dogs have different consumption rates. A small dog might take months to go through a bag of food, while a larger dog could finish it in weeks. This variability made it difficult for customers to choose the right subscription options, leading to frustration and mismatched expectations.

We crafted a custom dropdown experience that varied significantly for each product. This wasn’t just a one-size-fits-all approach; we tailored it so that the subscription options were specific to the product and the size of the dog.

Our solution allows the Four Leaf Rover team to update a single meta field. This field would then automatically display the correct subset of options for dog size and subscription frequency. Whether a customer had a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, they could easily select a subscription plan that matched their pet’s consumption rate.

This custom approach flipped the customer decision-making process on its head. Instead of a generic subscription option, customers are presented with choices that set clear expectations and reduce subscription cadance frustration.

When it came to enhancing Four Leaf Rover's customer account experience, we at bl!nk saw an opportunity to go beyond the basics. 

The standard Shopify customer account setup was functional but lacked the personalized touch and robust features that could truly engage Four Leaf Rover’s customers. 

We began by integrating Shopify’s definition of a customer account but then took it several steps further. The first thing we did was redesign the account interface to align with Four Leaf Rover’s unique brand identity. But we didn’t just focus on aesthetics. Functionality was key. 

We transformed the customer account into a true hub of activity. Customers could easily access and manage their subscriptions, view their order history, and update their personal information—all from a single, user-friendly dashboard.
